Acceptable Use Policy

DuePact is licensed for delinquency resolution workflow management on residential properties your organization owns or actively manages under a management agreement. Acceptable activities include building resolution packets, drafting payment plans for human review, tracking resident promises, and generating internal portfolio reports.

You may not use DuePact to:

• Discriminate against any individual or household based on race, color, religion, sex, national origin, familial status, disability, source of income, or any other protected class.
• Circumvent fair housing requirements, local notice timing, fee caps, or other consumer-protection regulations.
• Send notices, fees, or other adverse actions without first reviewing and approving the recommendation as a human decision-maker.
• Upload fabricated, manipulated, or test data to a production account in order to generate misleading resolution packets or reports.
• Treat packet recommendations as legal advice or as a substitute for counsel.
• Share account credentials across organizations or with any party not authorized to access the underlying resident data.
• Extract data in bulk for any purpose unrelated to managing the properties on your account.
• Process data for residential properties your organization does not own or actively manage.
• Harass residents, including by issuing recommended actions at a frequency or tone that a reasonable manager would not approve.

Fair housing compliance is your organization's responsibility. DuePact's compliance flags are configured by you and are designed to support — not replace — your fair housing program. Recommendations should be applied consistently across similarly situated residents; selective use of the product against members of a protected class is a violation of this policy.

Suspected violations are reviewed by the DuePact team. Confirmed violations may result in immediate account suspension and preservation of relevant audit trail data for any required compliance review. Severe violations — including discriminatory use — may be referred to appropriate authorities. Refer to the Terms of Service for termination rights.
